Our Story
AideNote was founded in November 2025 to fix what AI summarisers leave on the table. Recordings became searchable. Notes got tidier. But the actual job of running an organisation — making clear decisions, naming who owns them, and circling back to see if they played out — still happened in side channels, hallway conversations, and someone's head.
So we built the missing layer. Not another notes tool — a governance layer that sits on top of the meetings you already run.
Why governance, not just notes
We started where every AI meeting tool starts — turning recordings into clean summaries with action items. Customers liked the summaries. They kept asking the same harder question: which of these decisions actually got made, who owns them, and did they hold up?
AideNote supports three activities: reviewing rule-based gap checks on extracted decisions, confirming a decider and check-in date, and recording an outcome. Extraction and recommendations may be wrong or incomplete. These tools support human follow-up rather than guaranteeing it.

Governance score
A numeric heuristic based on gaps in extracted decisions, not a validated outcome prediction. No score is shown without extracted decisions.
Decision registry with deciders
Review extracted decisions in a searchable registry and confirm their deciders. Extraction may miss decisions or infer an incorrect owner.
Decision outcomes
Pick a check-in date, get a one-click email when it's due, record whether the decision played out, partially landed, didn't, or was too early to tell.
Action item ownership
Review action items and fill in or correct owners, due dates, and statuses to support follow-up.
Analytics across meetings
Trends across your full meeting history: governance score over time, decisions losing momentum, completion rates by team and by decider.
